While you’re away, Bunny Bakery pays you 50% of your normal coins per second for up to 8 hours. The next time the game starts, a “The bunnies kept baking!” screen shows the total, and you can collect it or watch an optional ad to double it. The amount depends on how long you were gone and how much your bakery was making at the moment you left.
How are offline earnings calculated? #
The formula is simple:
coins per second when you left x seconds away (up to 8 hours) x 0.5
Your coins per second is the “Per second” figure on the home screen. It includes everything that raises production: stations, station upgrades, the global upgrades like Warm Ovens, your Sparkle Star bonus and your achievement bonus. Taps don’t count, since nobody is tapping while you’re gone.
Here’s what that looks like for a bakery making 1,000 coins a second:

Absences of a few seconds don’t produce a payout at all. Anything under five seconds is ignored, so quickly switching apps won’t pop up the offline screen.
Why didn’t I get offline earnings? #
If you came back and the offline screen never appeared, one of these is usually the reason.
The game was still open in the background #
In the current version, the offline payout is worked out when the game starts up. If you switch to another app and later switch back while Bunny Bakery is still in memory, the game can resume where it left off without counting the time away. The fix is easy: when you’re done playing, swipe the game closed. The next launch counts the whole absence, up to the cap.
Your phone may close background apps on its own after a while, which is why the screen sometimes appears and sometimes doesn’t. Closing the game yourself makes it predictable.
You had no stations yet #
Offline income comes from stations. A brand-new bakery with no Bread Stand makes 0 coins a second, so there’s nothing to collect. Buy even one station before you leave.
You hit the 8-hour cap #
Time beyond 8 hours isn’t lost as a bug. It’s simply not paid. A weekend away pays the same as a night’s sleep.
You reinstalled the game or cleared its data #
Bunny Bakery saves your bakery on your device only. Deleting the app or clearing its storage erases the save, and a fresh bakery has no offline earnings. See whether you can move Bunny Bakery progress to a new phone before you switch devices.
How to earn more while you’re away #
- Spend before you close the game. The payout uses your production at the moment you left. Every station and upgrade you buy first raises the rate for the entire absence. Leaving with a pile of unspent coins wastes hours of boosted income.
- Check in twice a day. Because of the 8-hour cap, one visit a day pays for 8 hours out of 24. A morning and an evening visit can cover 16. If you open the game right after waking, spend everything, and close it again, the next session starts earning immediately.
- Double the pile if you don’t mind an ad. The offline screen has a “Watch ad, Collect 2x” button. It’s optional. If the ad fails to load, you still get the normal amount, so trying it never costs you anything. We compare this with the other ad rewards in are Bunny Bakery’s free boosts worth it.
- Turn on the reminder. In Settings, under Sound & Feel, “Reminder notifications” lets the game send you a single nudge about four hours after you leave. It’s cancelled as soon as you come back, so you won’t get a stack of alerts.
- Keep the daily streak alive. The daily login bonus is separate from offline earnings and appears after the offline screen on the first launch of a new day. Both reward the same habit of opening the game regularly.
Do offline earnings count toward prestige? #
Yes. Offline coins are coins earned in your current run, so they fill the Path to Prestige bar exactly like coins from stations or taps. Offline earnings vs playing offline #
People use “offline” for two different things, and Bunny Bakery handles both.
- Offline earnings means the bakery keeps producing while the game is closed. That’s the 50% for up to 8 hours described above.
- Offline play means playing with no internet connection. Bunny Bakery doesn’t need one. Your save lives on your phone, and all of the baking, buying and prestige works on a plane or in a basement.
