Bunny Bakery is a cozy idle clicker where you tap a chef bunny for coins and buy ten bakery stations that bake on their own. Tap Titans 2 #
A tap-based idle RPG where you prestige to cash in your progress for powerful artifacts. Its listing promises the full experience offline, which makes it one of the better choices for commutes and flights if you like fantasy combat.
Wrong for: younger kids, since it’s rated 12+.
Idle Miner Tycoon #
You manage a gold mine and hire managers to automate each part of it. The listing says you can collect idle cash “even when you are offline,” and mentions an offline mode.
Wrong for: anyone avoiding spending pressure. Google Play lists in-app purchases that include random items.
Not strictly idle, but good offline #
- Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete ($19.99 once, no in-game purchases). Nintendo’s listing says a constant online connection is not required, though the game may occasionally need to connect. It’s a slow, cozy camp-decorating game.
- Apple Arcade games ($6.99 a month). Apple says Arcade games can be played online or offline, with no ads and no in-app purchases. The catalog includes management games like Game Dev Story+ and cozy titles like Alba: A Wildlife Adventure.
Idle games that earn while you’re away (check before you fly) #
These games clearly keep progressing while closed, but their listings don’t say whether they open without a connection. Test them first (see the steps below).
- Idle Slayer: “Offline progression means your hero fights while you’re away.” It also offers cross-platform cloud saves between PC and mobile.
- Cats & Soup: the cats “cook and collect resources once you go idle.”

How to check a game before a trip #
